Product & Materials

What type of leather do you use?

We use premium full-grain buffalo leather and vegetable-tanned leather. Full-grain leather is the highest quality grade — the outermost layer of the hide with the natural grain intact. It develops a unique patina over time and is far more durable than split, corrected, or bonded leather. We use no synthetic or bonded leather in any of our products.

What does full-grain leather mean?

Full-grain leather comes from the outermost layer of the hide. The natural grain is intact, making it the most durable and highest quality grade of leather. Over time, it develops a rich patina unique to how you use it — scratches blend in, the color deepens, and the leather becomes uniquely yours.

Will my bag develop a patina?

Yes, and that is a feature, not a flaw. Full-grain leather naturally darkens and develops character with use. Exposure to oils from your hands, sunlight, and everyday contact creates a patina that makes each bag unique. It is one of the most valued qualities of genuine full-grain leather.

Leather Care

How do I care for my leather bag?

Apply a quality leather conditioner (we recommend beeswax-based conditioners) every 3-6 months. Keep the bag away from prolonged direct sunlight and heavy rain. For minor scuffs, rub gently with a damp cloth, let dry, then apply conditioner. For water exposure, let the leather dry naturally at room temperature — never use heat.

What should I do if my bag gets wet?

If your bag gets wet, wipe off excess moisture with a clean dry cloth and let it dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use a hair dryer or place it near a heat source. Once dry, apply a leather conditioner to restore suppleness. Full-grain leather handles water well — just avoid prolonged soaking.

How do I store my leather bag?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Stuff with tissue paper or a bag insert to help maintain shape when not in use. Avoid storing in plastic bags — leather needs to breathe. A dust bag (included with purchase) is ideal for long-term storage.
